Information Collection & Use

MobManager is owned by Constant Contact, Inc. ("we" or "us"). We are the sole owner of the information collected on the MobManager site. We only collect personally identifiable information from a merchant customer of ours (a "Merchant") or a Merchant’s customers when a Merchant or its customers completes one of our registration forms.

During registration, a Merchant is required to give us its name, email address, and optionally a phone number. We use this information to communicate with such Merchant regarding the provision of the MobManager services (including for customer support).

During registration, a Merchant’s customers will be required to give us his or her name, email address, phone number and redemption amount. We use this information to provide Merchants with the MobManager services.

Merchants may receive the following communications from us: weekly summary reports of merchant deal activities, notification of application service/maintenance and downtime, and promotional communications.

Merchant's customers may receive the following communications from us: double opt-in confirmation emails and subsequent promotional marketing on behalf of Merchants or us.

If a Merchant purchases the MobManager service from us, payment will be processed for us via PayPal or Square. Merchants are responsible for handling payments from their customers. We will at no time have access to a Merchant's or its customers' credit cards or other financial information.

Communications from the Site

Promotional Communications

We will occasionally send Merchants and Merchant’s customers information on our products, services, special deals and promotions.

Out of respect for our users' privacy, we present the option not to receive these types of communications. Please see the "Choice and Opt-out."

Service-related Announcements

We may send our users strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send users an email.

Generally, our users may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If users do not wish to receive them, users have the option to deactivate their accounts.

Customer Service

We will also communicate with our users in response to inquiries, to provide requested services, and to manage accounts. We will communicate with our users by email or telephone, in accordance with such user’s wishes.

Profile

We store information that we collect through cookies and log files to create a “profile” of a user’s preferences. We do not tie personally identifiable information, or purchasing history, to information in the profile.

We do not share our users’ profiles with other third parties.

Agents and Service Providers

We use PayPal and Square to bill Merchants for goods and services. See PayPal’s privacy statement and Square’s privacy statement for more information on how PayPal and Square use the information they gather.

We use Heroku to provide the MobManager web-based application. Any information submitted via the web site will be available to the MobManager service and Heroku. We use other third parties such as SendGrid to send email to our Merchants’ customers. While customer email addresses are required by SendGrid to send email, they are never sold, shared, or transferred with other parties in accordance with the SendGrid Privacy Policy. Customer data is saved on a database hosted by Heroku, where the application is run, and is subject to the Heroku Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to disclose your information (including personally identifiable information) as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our website.

Choice/Opt-out

All promotional emails sent to Merchants and their customers also include a link to unsubscribe/opt-out of future mailings. Users can also opt-out of our emails or those of any of our Merchants by emailing us at support@mobmanager.com.

Log Files

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files for session tracking. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

We use a third-party tracking service called MixPanel to gather this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We only use cookies session tracking on our website. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information users submit while on our site.

We use session ID cookies to make it easier for users to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when users close their browsers.

If users reject cookies, they may still use our site, but their ability to use some areas of our site may be limited.

We use a third-party tracking service called MixPanel that uses cookies to track non-personally identifiable information about visitors to our site in the aggregate to help us monitor feature usage and improve the quality of service.

This website contains links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by us. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.

Access to Personally Identifiable Information

If a user's personally identifiable information changes, or if a user no longer desires our service, a user may correct, update, delete or deactivate his or her information by emailing us at support@mobmanager.com or by contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed below.

Merchants can cancel their accounts at any time by clicking on the Account link in the global navigation bar at the top of the screen. The Account screen provides a simple no questions asked cancellation link.

Merchant customers that receive promotional emails can opt out of future email promotions by using the unsubscribe link in emails they receive, or by emailing support@mobmanager.com.

Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. Information submitted to our service is not encrypted with secure socket layer technology (SSL). With the exception of this encryption technology, we follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however.

Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Business Transitions

In the event we go through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred.
